Basilica San Lorenzo, Florence Italy
Medici family church built between 1420 and 1470. Architects: Brunel, Michelangelo.
The Klein art installtion is in the space hosting the tomb of Cosimo di Medici and Donatello. "The Laurentina Library" the counter-facade with its balcony as well as "The Medicee Chapels" are projected and built by Michelangelo. The entire complex is considered one of the most representative early renaissance structures in Europe, and hosts one of the most important collection of Michelangelo and Donatello art work.
